We live in a world where stress, information overload and daily challenges have become the norm. Often, our attention is so scattered by external problems that we forget about our inner state. But true healing – both physical and emotional – begins with peace of mind.

Today we’re going to talk about how to stop relying solely on our own, often exhausted, strength, and learn to trust others.

What does the Holy Scripture say about this?

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation let your requests be made known to God through prayer and petition, with thanksgiving. And may the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your minds…” > — (Philippians 4:6–7)

How to apply this in everyday life (3 practical steps):

  1. Pausing and becoming aware (The Principle of the Pause). Anxiety always resides either in the past (regret) or in the future (fear). Try to pause your life for at least 10 minutes once a day. Sit in silence, switch off your phone and simply be aware of your breathing and the present moment.
  2. Moving from complaints to gratitude. Our brains tend to fixate on the negative — it’s a survival mechanism. Consciously shift your focus. Instead of thinking, “Why has this happened to me?”, ask yourself, “What am I grateful for today?” Gratitude is the quickest way to change the “chemistry” of your mood.
  3. Sincere prayer rather than control. We cannot control every aspect of our lives. Prayer is not merely a list of requests; it is an act of surrendering control. It is an acknowledgement that you are not alone, and that there is a Higher Power capable of bringing peace even in the midst of life’s storms.

A short prayer for today: “Lord, I entrust my worries and fears to You. Teach me to trust in Your guidance when I cannot see the whole path ahead. Grant me the wisdom to accept the things I cannot change, and fill my heart with Your peace, which surpasses all human understanding. Amen.”

Start with a conversation, not with a procedure

During the consultation, we’ll assess your condition, select the appropriate techniques and draw up a programme, including what to do at home between sessions.
